This collection is my love letter to my favorite fruit, but also an homage to the Palestinian people, for whom figs hold deep cultural and historical symbolism. Figs are among the first fruits ever cultivated by humanity in the Palestinian region. They represent a timeless emblem of resilience, nourishment, and rootedness.

The Ode to Fig collection supports the Watermelon Sisters, a Palestinian-led volunteer-run humanitarian organization delivering critical aid in Gaza. Since 2024, they have distributed hundreds of thousands of liters of water, tens of thousands of meals, hygiene kits, and emergency shelter items. They also run art therapy programs, school supplies for children, and mental health counseling, particularly for women and children affected by trauma. 

More than 99% of donations go directly to initiatives, thereby building resilience and dignity in Gaza.
